Deadline for submission is 9am PDT/ 12pm EDT the day PRIOR to the class. 

There is a limit of one calendar listing per day for a given organization, studio, or instructor.

All submitted classes will be reviewed by Rock Maker Scissors before being added to the calendar. Classes may take up to 24 hours to be reviewed and the submitter will be notified when the event is published. Please review your event details carefully before submitting – once sent, you will not be able to edit the information.

Submission Guide:

Title: This is your event title and should include: class name, teacher's name, and any studio/company affiliation. (Example: Intermediate oil painting with Anya Freuden, Friendly Art Studio)


Visual/Text: This is the space to tell people how to access your class and provide any relevant URL's or social media handles.  You can also include a brief description of the class and/or instructor bio.  You do not need to add any media.


Date/Time:  Regardless of your location, times should be listed in Pacific Daylight Time zone.  You only need to list;

  • Start date
  • Start time
  • End date
  • End time

Please write "PDT" in the Time Comment box.  If your class repeats, you are welcome to check the box by the Event Repeating and complete those fields.  Please do not create a never-ending event series!

Note to Reviewer:  Any comments written here will be seen only by Rock Maker Scissors and will not be shared or published in your event.

User Data:  Provide your name and email for the notifications about your event being published or questions regarding your submission.  This data will not be shared in your submission.

Event Links: Do not include an Event Link (put your links in the Visual/Text box instead!)  You can use the More Info fields to add a URL that people can refer to for more details about the class or instructor.

Event Cost:  Provide your events cost or "Free", "Pay-What-You-Can", etc.

Featured Image: Upload a photo (<1MB) for the calendar listing.  Square proportions work best.

Categories:  Check any boxes that are relevant to your class.  Please contact us if you need us to add a category for you.

Labels: Check any boxes that are relevant to your class.  Again, please contact us if you need us to add a label for you.

Post-submissions:  Once submitted, class may take 24 hours to be reviewed.  You will be notified by email when the event is published.  Once submitted, you will not be able to make changes.  If you have edits, please contact,

Custom Days Repeating

Add certain days to event occurrence dates. If you have a single day event, start and end dates should be the same, If you have a multiple day event, the start and end dates must be commensurate with the initial date. Read More
