Adobe Illustrator Part 1

GENERAL

Get started with Adobe Illustrator! Throughout this course you will learn the essential functions of the application and how to create digital vector graphics. This skill will enable you to design custom artwork for print items from t-shirts to business cards. Receive direct help from an instructor with a small group of folks also beginning their journey with Illustrator, or ask about private lessons if you have a specific project in mind.

The class will take place in the instructor's studio at Milepost 5 Lofts where there's plenty of street parking, nearby bus stops and the MAX. Further instructions on entering the building will be provided 2 days prior to class.

  • Each class is 60 minutes long
  • Maximum of 4 students per lesson
  • Each lesson is held twice a week, covers two sections, then moves on to the next part
  • Participants must bring their own laptop with the application or trial version installed
  • Practice / example files and images will be provided

  • differentiate between various selection tools

  • arranging & selecting content
