Fun with Flash Fiction!

Join us for a four-week writing workshop where we will play with short forms. Six-word stories, twitterature, dribble, drabble, sudden fiction, flash, oh my! Short forms are taking the literature scene by storm? Why? What do they offer?

In this writing studio, we’ll experiment with various short forms through writing exercises and prompts. The focus each session will be creation with time for share-out and feedback. No experience necessary, or you can be a skilled wordsmith. Everyone is welcome. Classes are held on May 23 and 30, June 6 and 13th at Columbia River Brewing Company. They are cool enough to offer table service, so expect to order at least a beverage.

Supplies included, but feel free to bring your favorite notebook and pen.

Expect to have at least one flash piece polished and ready to submit by the end of the workshop.
